Now in their second score of years making music together, described by The
Gramophone as “a dazzling husband and wife team” and by International Record
Review as “a British institution in the best sense of the word”, leading
British piano duo Goldstone and Clemmow consists of internationally known artists
ANTHONY GOLDSTONE and CAROLINE CLEMMOW. One of Britain’s most respected
musicians, Anthony Goldstone (“a man whose nature was designed with pianos in mind” - New York Times) has played in six continents and with many leading orchestras
and conductors. Caroline Clemmow, described by the Daily Telelgraph as “the
ideal chamber music partner”, has travelled widely as soloist and in chamber
music, including an extensive tour of the former Soviet Union. As well as their
rapidly increasing number of duo recordings (now over thirty), each has
recorded widely in other fields. |
