SWING NOIRE

In the 1930s, a true revolution in music occurred: while 'hot' dance music was evolving into Swing in the USA and Britain, two musical geniuses in Paris created a new sound from a mix of jazz, gypsy rhythms and a hint of blues and ragtime.... and so the Hot Club of France was founded with its immensely popular Quintette, headed up by guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli.

Swing Noire are devoted to continuing the Hot Club tradition and do so fabulously; this is truly world class vintage jazz.... look out for news of new album soon......
