TWO
GENEVIEVE LACEY (recorder), POUL HØXBRO (tar)

Genevieve Lacey, a young Australian recorder player has been acclaimed by reviewers as "world class" and "one of Australia's great musicians". Poul Høxbro now focuses his talents on resurrecting medieval percussion instruments and here, on some tracks, plays the Andean hand drum known as a Tar. Together, they present a unique programme of traditional Irish folk melodies, baroque virtuosity, contemporary Australian works and medieval dance music.

The CD booklet features the wonderful visual artistry of Laura Rytter Holm.
